Madagascar Vanilla (Vanilla Planifolia) - Base note
Well-known and evoking nostalgic feelings; moody and romantic atmosphere. Since the time of the ancient Aztecs, vanilla has been appreciated and used frequently in perfumes. It is one of the most popular flavors in the world and one of the most expensive to produce. The Vanilla planifolia plant is an orchid with yellow-white flowers that produce odorless pods and beans. After a labor-intensive harvest, the beans are ground into small pieces to preserve the natural vanilla flavor. A two-step extraction process captures the ingredients from the beans to create the absolute. We combine this absolute with Fractionated Coconut Oil and the result is dōTERRA Madagascar Vanilla. Use it as an engaging personal fragrance or add a few drops to a bath oil to enjoy a luxurious moment surrounded by the exquisite aroma of Madagascar Vanilla.
